Lenovo USB Smartcard Keyboard works on Debian GNU/Linux #keyboard #hardware

🕛︎ - 2011-03-09

I ordered a Lenovo USB Smartcard Keyboard (17ef:6007) because I thought the idea of getting rid of the smartcard reader with the permanent green light cluttering up my desk and having a keyboard with an integrated reader instead sounded neat.

The only thing I had to do to get it working, was to add myself to the pcscd group.

Sweet!

I might have a slight keyboard fetish. Perhaps.
