Jukebox #jukebox
I like the "generate HTML", "no database", "get info from freedb", "add to queue" parts of Gronk!, but I dislike it's slowness on a PIII 500MHz and it takes some fiddling to make it work with anything but .mp3-files
The Idiot Jukebox looks nice, but there's too much funky "put in repository", "retrieve from repository" stuff in there that I don't care to figure out.
What other good jukeboxes are there?
I'd like:
- Getting info from freedb
- Displaying covers
- Artists and albums
- Queueing
- Random play, songs or albums
- Killing
- Plays flac, Ogg Vorbis, MP3
- Possibility to play a file that is not in the system (e.g. by uploading)
- Remote control
- Searching
- Recently played list
At least. Any further ideas?
Update: Maybe Music Player Daemon could be something?
