Wireless sucks
At least the Linksys WET11 ethernet-wireless bridge I got does. It works for a while, then it stops receiving packets from the wireless network. Which is, like, the purpose of the damned box. I even biked off to a Windows-box and upgraded the firmware which didn't change anything. I hate hardware.
Update: It turns out that if I use WEP, the bridge spontaneously stops working after 1-5 minutes. If I turn encryption off entirely, it keeps working. Yay.
