Open Source Beer

๐Ÿ•ž๏ธŽ - 2004-12-21

A Danish group of artists and students at The Information Technology University of Copenhagen has created a concept called "Our Beer", a so-called "Open Source Beer". Interestingly their style-manual says that their website should use a Microsoft font: Trebuchet MS and their bottle-label is in Photoshop format.

Now, they are - of course - free to choose to use [unfree software], that is their choice, but it does make the whole tongue-in-cheeck hippie open source free-beer joke a little less convincing, don't ya think?

Update: Half a year later - SlashDot picks up the story: Free Beer That's Free as in Speech. News for nerds, stuff that matters. Indeed.
