tigert is famous in the Linux- community for making cool graphics. He has a page with a couple of Gimp-tutorials, that seem worth visiting. Yum!
The tutorial on making bevelled fonts/logos is cool! It works best with "fat" fonts, but I used it on a "slim" one, and I like the result!
LinuxWorld explains how to remove the very unified Windows system to install Linux instead. Ho-hum.
