Making XEmacs 21.5 fit visually #emacs #x

🕤︎ - 2010-07-16

Here are some X resources that I use to make XEmacs fit a little more seamlessly:

XEmacs*menubar*fcFontName: DejaVu Sans-10
XEmacs*menubar*foreground: black
XEmacs*menubar*background: #E2E2DE
XEmacs*menubar*highlightForeground: #303054
XEmacs*menubar*shadowThickness: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintsnone
XEmacs*XlwScrollBar*shadowThickness: 1
XEmacs*XlwScrollBar*background: #E2E2DE

And a couple of lines for ~/.xemacs/init.el:

(set-default-font "DejaVu Sans Mono-12")
(set-specifier modeline-shadow-thickness 1)

And finally a line in ~/.xemacs/custom.el:

'(modeline ((((class color) (background light)) (:background "#e2e2de"))))

I have chosen to use a more old school method of spam prevention.
