GNOME 3: a surprise #ui
On Hacker News I learn that Eric S. Raymond doesn't like Unity and/or GNOME 3 (he seems to conflate them a little) either. I think I disagree with that guy about a lot of things, but GNOME 3 isn't one of them.
Reading the comments on Hacker News is interesting though: You CAN move things in the fallback panels, only instead of having a discoverable way to do it, you now how to magically know to hold ALT down when doing so. Nice!
