I just heard this on the news: "In the last couple of years, Afghanistan has grown to be the largest opium-producing country in the world."
I'm pretty sure that there is at least one person in China who produces opium. China is 9596960 km². Afghanistan is 647500 km². How can Afghanistan then be the largest country in the world that produces opium? Did Afghanistan just grow by more than a factor 10?
What you are saying and what you want to say, or even think you say, aren't always that close.
