I had not heard of DOSBox before today.

It is quite cool for running old DOS-honkers - in 1991 I would not have guessed that 15 years later I would run my venerable ASRESUL.EXE on a PowerPC-based machine, displaying the interface through X-forwarding over ssh :-)
