Debian releases etch! #debian
Congratulations Debian, on releasing version 4.0 - etch!
Twenty-one cds. Whoa!
I think I should celebrate by purchasing a small AMD64-box so I can get rid of the old and increasingly noisy closet-server.
I see AMD makes versions of their processors that use 65W compared to 89W (or more). Nice! They also make some 35W versions, but they are in excess of four times more expensive.
My first Debian install was from two "Oficial" Debian bo (1.3) cd's I bought. I haven't felt the need to switch since (started on Yggdrasil, then Slackware and finally Debian).
