Crouching Tiger #cinema

๐Ÿ•๏ธŽ - 2000-11-10

Went to the new "cineplex" in Copenhagen last night to see "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" a chinese action(ish) movie. Somewhat longwinded, but with an okay story and some very nice action sequences - in sharp contrast to movies where action looks cool (like The Matrix and similar), the running up walls and flying/running over the rooftops looked cute. We liked that. Next to us sat three chinese women, commenting the movie (only a bit, not enough to be annoying) in chinese.

The actual cinema was quite good - steep, with enough legspace and with a large screen (filled the endwall almost entirely). The surroundings looks like they were taken from a mall in an American b-movie, though (reverse cap and sportspants seemed to be required).

Speaking of animals, a racoon took out some of UC Santa Barbara recently!

Damn, that site is ugly.

When you know it's time to go to bed.
