I think the Danish minister of sports should put this on the very top of her list of priorities: Make sure that before each Olympics or World Championships there is a Danish referendum!
Jesper Bank and his crew won gold in sailing the day after we said "No" to the Euro.
The day after that, the Danish womens handball-team won gold.
I think this is evidence enough; a statistically sound foundation for saying "No" and for having a referendum just before a big sporting event. I'm sure it can't fail.
