By accident I land on a Danish music news website, and I read that Sheryl Crow "has recorded an old Bob Dylan song called Mississippi".
That's quite good. Two out of three are correct. Sheryl Crow has recorded Mississippi and it is a Bob Dylan song. But it's not old. Bob Dylan recorded it at the Time Out Of Mind (1997) sessions and decided not to use it on the album - thus it was never released by him. Hardly what you would call an old Bob Dylan song; he's been recording songs since 1962.
Update: They have updated the news-item, so that it doesn't say "old". No notice of the correction was to be seen on the page though. Journalistic integrity?
(I could go on about the name "Music News Watch" for a Danish website produced in Danish, but I digress: MNW is produced by Next Generation).
NIST (the US National Institute of Standards and Technology) has a Dictionary of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Problems online. Stumbled over that one too.
SDMI "de"'d by a couple of French folks :-)
Why is it that a lot of the spam I've been "blessed" with recently has to do with "regrowing" hair?! I'm actually a little miffed! ⊗
