Apples iPods and Linux #apple
Using a newer iPod with Linux isn't exactly a walk in the park.
And, Apple, you're not helping! Actually, they're actively making things harder and more annoying.
It's a shame, really.
Update: Ingenious people are making progress though, on the USB-communication, for instance: ifuse!
I grabbed the Ubuntu source packages and built them on Debian unstable; works quite well (only minor niggles so far.)
